When we started Troops, our original goal was to make business software easier to use. We spend so much of our lifetimes at work that the tools we use to do our jobs shouldn’t be cumbersome or confusing. They should look and feel like the applications we use outside of the workplace, which are easy, intuitive, and mirror our natural human behaviors like conversation (in the form of messaging).

To date, providing this technology is the primary way we have approached our mission to make work more human. But now that we find ourselves in a period where the lines between work and our personal lives are more tightly intertwined than ever before, we realize there is more we can do to help the people we serve be more human in the workplace.

The events that have unfolded over the past few months have made us all experience stress, isolation, anxiety, and fear . To successfully emerge from this in the best way possible, we must move towards a more present, compassionate, and loving way of being to all humans we interact with . . . which includes everyone we work with!

Many members of the Troops team have practices they are passionate about that help them move towards this more human way of being, and we realized that there was an opportunity to share them with our community.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce our new Work Like A Human Mental Fitness Series

What is the Mental Fitness Series?

Every few weeks, Troops will host a free online wellness session to introduce various practices that can help you achieve better balance, focus, and productivity. They will be 30-minute sessions hosted on Zoom in the middle of the day and structured to help you recharge and refresh.

Our first three classes will be in partnership with New York-based emotional fitness company Frequency.

You can sign up for any upcoming sessions below or watch past ones on-demand:

We’re planning to bring you more classes beyond these initial two and we will share more in the coming weeks as we see how this all unfolds and what people in our communities want and need.

It is our sincerest hope that you join us, and that you find these helpful.  We all strive to be the best humans we can be. We acknowledge this is a bit new and different for many of you, so please feel free to reply in the comments or email me at Scott@troops.ai if you have any questions.
